Gallery Show: Mason Murer Fine Arts

I am pleased to announce the opening for a show of my new work at Mason Murer Fine Arts is September 26, 2008. Mason Murer Fine Arts is one of the top galleries in Atlanta and the show will be up until November 7th .

With the incorporation of found objects, antique lights and other electrical devices, these new pieces are more ambitious than anything I’ve done to date. Hope to see you there.

I've been included in a new book, Detour Art: Outsider, Folk Art, and Visionary Environments Coast to Coast published by Kansas City Star Books. It is by designer, photographer, and art aficionado, Kelly Ludwig and features the two pieces of mine in her collection.

I've recently been featured on the show "Rare Visions & Roadside Revelations" in the episode "Peaches, Beaches, Gators & Grits". My segment is about 5-6 minutes long. (At the end of the DVD, there's another 5 minutes of me rambling on about my work.)

This is a great series and runs on PBS stations. If you haven't seen it, these guys have been traversing the country since 1995 to find offbeat sites, amazing artists, and odd roadside attractions. (You'll probably will want to check with your local station to see if they carry it. If not tell them they should!)
